Fish the famous Alberni Canal and the West Coast of Vancouver Island for Sockeye or Spring Salmon, Halibut or Lingcod; or try your luck at river fishing along the Stamp, Sproat or Somass river systems. During your excursion you may encounter humpback and grey whales, sea lions, bears, bald eagles, and a variety of other coastal mammals and birds.

Boats, from 24 to 27 feet, are equipped with quality fishing gear, flush toilets, full cuddy cabins, GPS, Radar and VHF radios, and of course, ice. We'll clean and bag your fish and help you ship your catch world-wide. Coffee, tea and water are provided.

Take a step back in time and experience Port Alberni's colorful logging history. Begin your journey into the past at the recently restored 1912 CPR Station. Climb aboard the old No.7 steam locomotive and ride the Alberni Pacific Railway to McLean's Mill, Canada's only operating steam-powered sawmill. Stroll through living history, interacting with members of the Tim Pants Theater Troupe as they share glimpses of lumber camp life as it was in the early years of the last century.
